Management and Science University (MSU) announces the opening of its residential facility, The Residence.

Situated on campus, adjacent to MSU Medical Centre, The Residence offers conveniences such as café, meeting rooms, gym, indoor-sports facilities, outdoor futsal court, and the Sky Garden.

MSU President, Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, officiated the soft launch of The Residence’s Level 13.

“This marks full completion of our residential facility for all our students, both local and international. Our objective is simple – to make teaching and learning at MSU among the best experiences for all, in line with the University’s objective to be the best.

“We are now among the Top 51 percent best universities in the world, the Top 200 Best University in Asia, the Top 300 Best University for Graduate Employability, and on our way to Top 50 Best Employer in Malaysia.

“We didn’t build the University for ranking but for benchmarking, and we develop the University to the betterment of our students. Upgrading our current facilities will be an ongoing process; to build better facilities and provide better teaching and learning experiences for everyone. Our campus will be lively, international, the place to be to learn and develop your talents, and prepare to be holistic, well-rounded, balanced graduates.

“Thank, you, all our international students; whether you are here on GMP (Global Mobility Programme), GLP (Global Leadership Programme), or short courses; for being our guests, and for whom we wish to provide the best experiences of Malaysia in terms of food and culture. Welcome to all; from Kazakhstan, Japan, China, Indonesia, and everywhere else from all around the world.

“To all our local students and residents, take this as your best learning experience on campus. Take the opportunity to go beyond; to Kazakhstan, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, even the UK and everywhere else, because it will develop you holistically into better graduates.”

Management and Science University currently offers its students several dining facilities comprising Cinnamon Café (two outlets), The Hub, OO Café, Teh Tarik Place, Cool Blog, Juicee Juices and Cakes, Nelson’s, and Gloria Jeans Coffees. Also on campus are banking, shopping, personal care, and eye care facilities; all conveniently located at U-Square on Level 2 of the campus grounds. Future on-campus facilities include a Starbucks café at the space currently occupied by U-Shop, which will move to the old MSU Clinic now that MSU Medical Centre is fully operational.
