Management and Science University (MSU) welcomed the ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Malaysia on campus recently for the MSU Global Talk Series.

 

 

Taking place at the Performing Arts Theatre (PAT), the participants, comprising MSU students and staff members, were illuminated with key developments in Bahrain’s healthcare sector in tandem with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 

 

Dr. Walled Khalifa Al Manea's lecture focused on the country's crucial progress in enhancing its healthcare systems through initiatives like digital transformation, genomic research, and advanced mental health legislation.

 

 

The ambassador also illustrated the benefits of public-private partnerships, which have further solidified Bahrain’s healthcare infrastructure, fostering innovation and enhancing access to quality care.

Global health challenges necessitate multisectoral collaboration across various fields, including health, education, the environment, and the economy, stated Dr. Walled Khalifa, as one of the central global health agenda.
