Across the cohorts of May to October 2024, Management and Science University enrolled 2,024 students, including 100 international students from 29 countries.
With Indonesia contributing to the largest number, the students from Maldives, China, India, Bangladesh, Brunei, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Pakistan, Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabi, Syria, Tanzania, Türkiye, Botswana, Burma, Chadia, Japan, Lebanon, Mauritius, Oman, Palestine, Philippines, Seychelles, Somalia, Tunisia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe added a vibrant edition to the event.
With 486 students, the School of Education and Social Sciences (SESS) had the highest enrollment, followed by the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP) with 420, the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE) with 375, the International Medical School (IMS) with 280, the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA) with 201, the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS) with 167, and the School of Pharmacy (SPH) with 95.
Hala Alloush, a Syrian nationality enrolled in the Bachelor in English Language and Literature Studies (Hons) programme at SESS, led the oath.
Noranisya Roslan, from the Pahang aborigine community, delivered the vote of thanks. She is pursuing a Diploma in Patisserie Arts at SHCA.
MSU Oath-Taking Ceremony October 2024 featured the swearing-in ceremony of the Student Representatives Council (SRC) 2024/2025, the end-of-office for the SRC 2023/2024, the appointment of MSU Facilitators 2024/2025, and appreciation for the MSU Facilitators 2022/2023.
The new 2024/2025 SRC President is Joanne Ng Zi Chien from the Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) programme at FBMP, and the new SRC Vice President is Raja Miza Karmila Raja Azhar from the Bachelor of Optometry (Hons) programme at FHLS.

Diverse clubs and associations, including new students, put up energetic performances during the ceremony. Engagement in the orientation programmes was acknowledged with rewards for the freshmen.
Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, the President of MSU, officiated the ceremony taking place at the Chancellor Hall. He highlighted that preparing for the academic path begins with recognising the ultimate objective and outlining the appropriate mindset.
The President also encouraged everyone present at the ceremony to move beyond the traditional classroom, as intercultural learning is critical to developing balanced, holistic, and well-rounded individuals.
Also joining the ceremony were Professor Puan Sri Datuk Dr. Junainah Abd Hamid, Vice Chancellor; Halijah Hassan, Director of SCD; Dato’ Sharifah Huda Engku Muda, Senior Vice President for Administration & Human Capital; Dato’ Rosli Yusof, Senior Vice President Endowment & Communication; deans; and the senior management team of MSU.
