MSU College Sarawak held a TradiCharity event in conjunction with its Open Day last month.

Combining charity for society with acknowledgement of the diverse ethnicities represented at the MSU College in Kuching, the March-2020 open-day special was organized by students taking the Event Practices course on the Diploma in Tourism Management programme; with their fellow MSUrians on the Diploma in Management and Diploma in Early Childhood Education programmes.

Other than bonding the students with their lecturers, the day provided opportunities of exposure, enquiry, and registration at MSUC Sarawak.

The day’s activities, which began at 7:00am and ended at 2:30pm, included charity cooking and health screening, contemporary creative dance competition, and a race.

Event Manager Suzane Grace Peter who is in her third semester on the Tourism Management programme notes the open day’s success at raising awareness about MSU College.

“We achieved our Event Practices aims and are very happy that the people in Kuching came away with better knowledge about what it’s like to study here at MSU College Sarawak,“ she said.
