Management and Science University (MSU) Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP) raised 300 boxes of hope this year for Ihya Ramadan 2023.

 

 

The FBMP Hopebox community engagement project for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were distributed to underprivileged folks in Shah Alam, Malaysia and Sulawesi, Indonesia; the latter through a collaboration with Institut Agama Islam Negeri, Parapare.

 

Receiving them on campus at an iftar with MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid were asnaf students from SMK Alam Megah, Yayasan MSU’s Sekolah Bina Insan (SBI), and ten of FBMP’s own; as well as representatives from Shah Alam Sections 6 and 7, Projek Perumahan Rakyat Miskin Tegar (PPRT), Subang Bestari, Taman Alam Megah, Kg Padang Jawa, Petaling Jaya Orphanage, and Institut Agama Islam Negeri, Parapare.

 

 

Presenting donation boxes to Professor Tan Sri Dr Shukri were sponsors Jalen and Yayasan Mesra; the former represented by MSU alumnus Ameerin Haqeem Amaran.

 

Two other members of the MSU Alumni Association also presented contributions to Yayasan MSU; the mock cheques from 2008 alumnus Rajagopal Yagambaran and 2021 alumna Nefy Asyura Johari were received by YMSU Vice-President Dato’ Rosli Yusof.
