Management and Science University (MSU) Learning Centre (MLC) in KL Sentral held a Merdeka Fiesta 2022 recently, where its students of Diploma in Graphic Design bagged five of the twelve prizes up for grab across three competitions.
Two winners in the Drawing Competition are Nurhan Azhari Mulyanto and Ahmad Arif Aiman Mohd Nasrun, both from the Diploma in Graphic Design programme. Their drawing received a special touch from Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, with the MSU president signing on it at the launch of the MLC Merdeka Fiesta 2022.
Taking the first prize in the Tik Tok Challenge are Nur Hanis Mohd Sujak (Diploma in Graphic Design), Muhammad Nabil Rusyaidi Ahmad Radhi (Bachelor in Human Capital Management (Hons) on Full-Time Weekend Mode), Nur Dina Kamilah Ahmad Soffian (Diploma in Management), and Yasmeen Muzaffar (MSU Main Campus).
Prizes for Best Booth went to Diploma in Human Capital Management students Gurpreet Kaur Surjit Singh, Paramjit Kaur Surjit Singh, and Darsini Keswamorthy, and Diploma in Management student Shaleni Jeevanand.
MLC Merdeka Fiesta 2022 was the first such event celebrating the National Independence Day on August 31 since MSU Learning Centre opened in the capital transport hub KL Sentral.
Other activities included a blood donation campaign by Pusat Darah Negara, health screenings run and sponsored by MSU Medical Centre (MSUMC), and booth sale by members of MSU’s Young Entrepreneurs Club.
Riezman Khuzaimi was the invited celebrity, who was joined by MSU alumni at the booths – Qalish Beauty Care, S. Maju Agro, and Selendang Co.
