February is a special month at MSU. It kicks start the first of the three annual convocation ceremonies at Management and Science University (MSU).

Convocation is among the largest events held on the MSU Campus. Year-round, two ceremonies are held for graduating students of MSU and one for MSU College.

Countless components make up Convocation, from the minute to the massive. With attendees comprising graduands and their families, honourands and special guests, as well as members of the University management and teaching staff, every detail must be paid attention to.

Coordinating the Convocation with such scope and ceremony is akin to directing a major motion picture. The groups of people coming together make it look like a big movie set with all the human resource and technical equipment on a large-scale production.

Days before the graduation day, Home-Coming Fiesta sets the campus abuzz with various activities – Entrepreneurs Bazaar, Hippocratic and Pharmacist Oath and White-Coat Ceremony, and President’s List Award.

Festivities approaching MSU’s 26th Convocation Ceremony were made merrier with the conjunctional opening of Starbucks on campus a day before the first session of the graduation ceremony kicked off on Saturday the 22nd of February 2020.

On convocation morning, there is anticipation in the air and excitement everywhere. Congregating at U-Square, U-Plaza, and The Hub, leading up to the traditional procession into MSU Chancellor Hall – dubbed the Hall of Success – graduands and parents realize that this is the culmination of three, four, or five years’ work. All around them, a flurry of activities continue to ensure their convocation turns into a lifelong, cherished memory.
