“Standing here, our mission is clear: to transform lives and enrich futures through education. Understanding the essence of Teacher’s Day requires us to reflect on our purpose. We are here to deliver the highest quality education, to inspire our students, and to ensure their success. Universities serve as platforms for change, and educators are its catalyst,” said the MSU President, Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid in the MSU Teacher’s Day Celebration this June.

The School of Education and Social Sciences (SESS) of Management and Science University (MSU) hosted the MSU Teacher’s Day Celebration on a momentous occasion that gathered the institution’s academicians and students across all faculties and schools in conjunction with SESS Education Week 2024.

Designed to ensure inclusivity and entertainment, the celebration aimed to express gratitude and appreciation for academicians’ relentless dedication, motivate them by recognising their contributions, foster stronger relationships within the academic community, and contribute to a positive learning culture and sense of belonging among students and lecturers.

Four MSU schools and three faculties—the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies, the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering, the International Medical School, the School of Education and Social Sciences, the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts, and the School of Pharmacy—presented a variety of performances. In addition, the Performing Arts & Cultural Club and the Centre for Fundamental Studies were also present during the celebration to showcase their special performances.
