On May 21, the MSU Group of Colleges held an Oath-Taking and Swearing-In ceremony for new intake orientation students and the Student Representative Council (SRC), respectively. 

A thousand and fifty-nine new students pledged their oaths of scholarship, citizenship, excellence, and good conduct. 

With 241 students, MSU College Sarawak has the highest enrollment, followed by MSU College Kota Bahru with 194, MSU College Johor Bahru with 115, MSU College Sungai Petani with 113, MSU College Shah Alam with 110, MSU College Seremban with 99, MSU College Ipoh with 75, MSU College Terengganu with 47, MSU College Penang with 36, MSU Learning Centre with 15, and MSU College Sabah with 14. 

Muhammad Ilyaas Faizurrahman, from MSU College Shah Alam, led the oath.

 

 

The Student Representative Council comprised one hundred and ten members. Swearing-in were 12 each from MSU College Sabah, Sungai Petani, and Kota Bahru; 11 each from MSU College Shah Alam and Sarawak; 10 each from MSU Learning Centre, Ipoh, Penang, and Johor Bahru; eight from MSU College Seremban; and six from MSU College Terengganu.

Leading the swearing-in oath, representing 110 SRC members, was Rahidayah Qhainurshira Rasula from MSU College Sabah.

 

 

"As the representative of all MSU College students, I express our heartfelt gratitude to Professor Tan Sri Dato Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid for providing equal opportunities regardless of race, ethnicity, and religion. With this intention and spirit, I am confident that success will belong to all MSUrians,” expressed Ervina Anis in her Vote of Thanks. She is currently pursuing Diploma in Early Childhood Education at MSU College Sarawak. 

 

 

"Our beginnings do not define us. From this moment onward, your journey into the wider world begins. Take this time to explore and discover the University. The SMILE programme is designed to facilitate intercampus experiences among MSU Colleges nationwide; I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to experience a transformative journey on our campus," said Professor Dr. Mohd Shukri in his officiating speech.
