MSU ASIC Award

An advocate of equity and inclusion in higher education, with strategic vision for sustainable inclusive excellence, Professor Tan Sri Dr Shukri received the ASIC Fellowship Award for Leadership.

Inclusion at MSU translates into diversity, and equality ensures support for all. The right to education for every member of society is fulfilled and protected, with full access to the system of teaching and learning and life on campus. Equal footing is provided, by a common platform on which to advance as an inclusive community journeying to a better, more sustainable future.

Whilst easy access to information and communication promotes the MSU mission for lifelong learning, the MSU culture of inclusiveness unifies across the diversity with a sense of belonging.

In song and spirit, harmony across diversity

Bonding over flavours and colours

Every student shall benefit equally from the University’s educational and societal mission. Merit scholarships by MSU Foundation (YMSU) ensure equal opportunity for the marginalized and the underserved. A conscious effort in fulfilling and maintaining the rights of the disabled in line with the Disabilities Act 2008 and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) is reflected in the campus facilities and infrastructure; a support system that enables independent movement in the physical environment.
