Whilst a moral compass, behavioural decency, and community responsibility are essential to the development of great societies, the fourth SDG on Quality Education is the key enabler to all the other SDGs. Understanding that education is not a standalone endeavour, Management and Science University (MSU) continues to collaborate with various parties. MSU recently received the Minister of Higher Education Malaysia on campus in Shah Alam Section 13 to present Zakat to MSUrians.

 

 

Continuing the University’s Ihya Ramadan tradition on a 2G culture of Giving and Grateful, MSU through its Foundation Yayasan MSU (YMSU) as well as Student and Career Development (SCD) Department presented duit raya and financial assistance to over six hundred deserving students in an Iftar event held at the MSU Chancellor Hall.

 

Receiving the duit raya handed out by the Higher Education Minister were 140 from the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE), 90 from the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA), 79 from the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP), 68 from the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS), 58 from the School of Education and Social Sciences (SESS), 29 from the International Medical School (IMS), 27 from the School of Pharmacy (SPH), 2 from the Graduate School of Management (GSM), 40 from MSU College (MSUC) Seremban, 33 from MSU Learning Centre (MLC) KL Sentral, and 25 from MSUC Shah Alam.

 

 

Twenty-seven received financial assistance through the Zakat to MSU Students event of Ihya Ramadan 2022 at Management and Science University.

 

 

Present to welcome the Minister of Higher Education Malaysia was MSU President and YMSU Chairman Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid.
