Management and Science University (MSU) hosted the MSU Brunei Discovery Day on February 26.
In celebration of Brunei’s 41st National Day, which falls on February 23, the MSU Bruneian Society headed the commemoration by bringing together Bruneian students at MSU to honour the nation’s rich heritage, culture, and national pride.
The celebration of cultural appreciation and global competency was graced by YM Puan Nurfazliana Talif, Attache (Education), High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Malaysia; Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, President and Founder of MSU.
Taking place at the Performing Arts Theatre, Professor Dr. Mohd Shukri highlighted the deep-rooted historical and cultural links between both countries, thus building a culture of appreciation for each other that eventually brings empathy among us. He expressed that MSU is keen to contribute to Brunei’s talent development and enhance collaboration with universities and industries, paving the way for a strong and sustainable partnership.
Adding vibrancy to the commemoration were the performances, the Bruneian Attire Contest, and the exhibitions.
