Management and Science University (MSU) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia or Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM).
MSU is the sixth institution of higher education in the country to have signed the MoU, which concerns tahfiz certification for professionals.
The signing of the JAKIM MoU marks a step towards realizing the government’s commitment for more graduate professionals to be trained in memorizing the Quran.
Present on campus for the signing ceremony was a delegation led by JAKIM Director General Datuk Haji Mohamad Nordin Ibrahim.
Receiving the JAKIM delegation were MSU President, Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid; Senior Vice-President for Global Affairs and Strategic Communication and Vice-President for MSU Foundation, Dato’ Rosli Yusof; and members of MSU’s management team.
