Management and Science University (MSU) opened the MSU Health Science Week 2022 with the launch of the Glasses Recycle and Eye Environmental Sustainability (GREEnS) Project.

 

Organized by the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS), the launch by MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid took place at MSU’s Performing Arts Theatre.

 

 

Among the attendees were the Director of the Institute of Medical Research (IMR) Malaysia, the CEO of Ganofarm Sdn Bhd, and the Head of Commercial at Frames and Lenses Sdn Bhd.

 

Themed Embracing Science for a Better Future, MSU Health Science Week 2022 included competitions such as Junior Optometry Challenge, 3D Frame Design, Public Health Role Play, and Epidemiology Poster.

 

The 3D Frame Design contest had Lai Chun Hui in first place, Muhammad Syukri Mohamad Rafiuddin in second place, and Khoo Sau Yong in third place.

 

Innovative and Healthy Cooking presented four categories and a lucky draw.

 

Power Puff Girls comprising Wan Nurfarahin Wan Izani, Nurul Nabila Ridwan, and Sharifah Qistieyna Natjwa Syed Rino Hakem from the Diploma in Patisserie Arts programme bagged the prize for The Finest Looking Wrap.

 

The Most Supreme Sandwich was made by Gojes Bestie’s Muhammad Aminuddin Iskandar Rosmi and Nur Shahizzah Suhanan from the Bachelor in Patisserie Arts (Hons) programme, whilst The Most Creative Menu Card was designed by Avocado Roll’s Nursabrina Najwa Shafei, Ras Ariesha Najiha Mohamad Aris, and Siti Zulaikha Suhaimi of Diploma in Patisserie Arts.

 

Chopper Café duo Muhammad Adli Muhammad Suhaimi from the Bachelor in Culinary Arts (Hons) programme and Farah Nur Afiqah Abd Khalim of Diploma in Fashion Design took the prize for The Most Attractive Salad. 

 

Two-in-1 steamboat cookers in the Lucky Draw sponsored by industry partner Versacomm Sdn Bhd went to Anaqi Zakariah from Diploma in Culinary Arts and Nur Natasha Izzaty Ramly of Bachelor in Culinary Arts (Hons)
