The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS) at Management and Science University (MSU) exchanged five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with new industries in July 2024.

In conjunction with the 1st edition of the International Conferences on Cardiovascular and Quality of Life (iConCiQ), FHLS sealed official collaboration with Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), Aafiyat Holding, Physiomobile, WiPro UNZA, and the National Kidney Foundation (NKF).

Witnessed by MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, FHLS Dean Associate Professor Dr. Sairah Abd Karim exchanged the MoU with Dato’ Akmal Arief, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (IJN); Mohd Zuqi@Zaki Mohd Rejab, Chief of Human Capital Officer (Aafiyat Holding); Muhamad Saiful Zhafri Mohd Shahidan, Chief Executive Officer (Physiomobile); Saravanan Palanisamy, General Manager Manufacturing (WiPro UNZA); and Khor Xin Yun, Chief Executive Officer (NKF).

 

 

“This collaboration assures that our work is pertinent and timely to the industry’s needs and establishes a comprehensive ecosystem within the University that extends beyond the internship requirements,” said the MSU President.

FHLS, in collaboration with the School of Graduate Studies (SGS), embarked on creating an avenue for students, academicians, researchers, and industrial practitioners to address the most practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted regarding cardiovascular disease and technology. The first edition of iConCiq, carrying the theme “Cardiovascular Wellness: Nurturing Hearts, Enriching Lives,"  featured over 150 participants, including international universities.
