Management and Science University (MSU) has held the 11th edition of the MSU Ideas Regeneration Expo (iReX) this June 2021.

 

 

iReX 11.0 is the first virtual edition of the biannual event traditionally organized by MSU’s Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE). Presenting final-year projects by students of Engineering and Technology (ENT), Information Science and Computing (ISC), and Media Science and Graphic (MSG), iReX is the culmination of research across five key areas – Sustainability, Engineering Innovation and Technology, Cyber Security, Big Data, and New Media Technology.

 

 

Close to 500 students as well as members of the MSU Alumni were involved; among them, 192 Bachelor students and 120 Diploma students of MSU, 29 students of MSU colleges, 6 from MSU learning centres, 134 on the iReX student committees, and 9 from Indonesia’s Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR).

 

 

Twenty-three projects were presented with the iReX Gold Award, 21 the Silver Award, and 18 the Bronze Award.

 

The eleventh edition of iReX was officiated by MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Abd Yajid, and contributed RM3,000 to MSU Foundation (Yayasan MSU).
