Management and Science University (MSU) Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS) has relaunched its Ihya Ramadan flagship programme CaSeH.

 

The Community Engagement for Sustainable Humanity programme which began in 2016 was relaunched at the MSU Performing Arts Theatre (PAT) by MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Abd Yajid.

 

 

The MSU president’s address on love for the environment, concern for humanity, and embracing everyone in the spirit of inclusivity echoed an opening performance by students from the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS) with its message of making the world a better place through the seventeen United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).

 

 

“We are living in a world full of problems; rise in poverty rates and inequality levels, increase in natural disasters from climate change, Infectious diseases spreading till our healthcare systems can no longer cope. We need solutions today, and through the UNSDGs we will be the solution. Seventeen goals to make the world a better place. A healthy and safe earth for everyone by 2030. This shall be our future.”

 

The relaunched CaSeH programme for Ihya Ramadan 2023 at Management and Science University (MSU) comprises four main activities.

 

Receiving their flag-off token from Professor Tan Sri Dr Shukri were Protech Club vice-president Ammar Akmal Abullah for CaSeH Neighbourhood, Protech Club president Aiman Nor Azlan for Singgah Sahur, Biovarsity Club president Wendy Wong Zheng Yee for Bakul Ramadan, and Optometry Student Club president Muhammad Aliff Zulkifli for Infiniti Tresna.
