Management & Science University celebrates MSU MyDay every year upon the nationwide celebration of Malaysia's National Independence Day. Adding numerous programmes in conjunction with MYDay is the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE), ranging from community services, competition and talks. Aimed to inculcate an appreciative spirit of independence and nurture togetherness in our staff and students, FISE has successfully gathered their fellow lecturers, alumni, students, professional industry, and communities to take part in all the programmes.

Embracing a 2G culture of giving and grateful, FISE organized programmes that provide immediate assistance to alleviate the burden of communities around Klang Valley. Programmes such as Make-a-Wish, Merdeka Charity Day, A Living need – Food Bank, MSU Cares towards a Better Community, Kita Kongsi, Food Aid Basket and Lend Our Hands are targeted to families in the B40 income group affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.


A range of competitions have also been organised by the faculty club and department to enliven the day such as mural design competition, Merdeka Replica Challenge from Recycled Items, 63 years of Merdeka logo competition, Poster Design Competition, #MSUFISEMERDEKA Challenge, Brainstorm E-Quiz Competition, Competition on Impact of The Covid - 19 Towards Environment and others.

FISE also managed to organize a talk and seminar with the collaboration of industry partners alumni, and adjuncts.
