‘How To Be A Good Presenter’ With Dato’ Rosli Yusof
MSU Learning Centre had successfully organized a program entitled ‘How To Be A Good Presenter’. The speaker was Dato’ Rosli Yusof, Senior Vice President of Endowment and Communication, MSU. It was attended by over 200 students and staff from MSU, MSU College, and MSU Learning Centre.
Aimed to help students who hustle with their presentation and communication skills by cultivating the confidence and personal skills for future professional career world, the 1 hour 40 minutes sharing session focuses on the value and effectiveness of communication in a presentation by verbal, non -verbal, body language, and many more. Dato’ Rosli also included the importance of content that is filled with facts, anecdote and figure.
Through the 3Cs emphasized by Dato’ Rosli, namely change, convince, and confidence, students got a clearer picture of the expectations from the industry in preparation for professional career world. He believes, a supportive ecosystem is important to practice personal skills, including listening skills, reading skills, and writing skills as crucially as putting your thinking into paper. Thus, the best preparation is through practicing within right ecosystem and environment.
More than just typical sharing session, Dato’ Rosli also gave the participants opportunity to ask questions, which led to encouraging listening and speaking skills on how to be a stylish and versatile speaker.
The program ended with a closing remark from Pn Norlina bt Arshad, Director of MSU Learning Centre.
