The struggle of having nice pictures but it being ruined by WhatsApp’s auto quality can be solved with just a few taps in WhatsApp’s settings. What many don’t know is that you can select your photo uploading quality in WhatsApp.

1. First open the app and tap the three dots in the top right corner of the app.
   
   


2. Then go to Settings.
   
   


3. Next, tap on Storage and data
   
   


4. You’ll see media upload quality at the bottom of the screen and under that photo upload quality. Tap on photo upload quality to change the quality.
   
   


5. Lastly, select the option according to your need. Now when you send photos to other people it will reach them in a better quality, however some compression will still be there.
