MoU marks fifth Finance, Investment and Accounting Colloquium Series by business school FBMP of Management and Science University (MSU)
Management and Science University (MSU) has signed a memorandum of understanding with local credit counseling and management agency AKPK. The signing marked the fifth Finance, Investment and Accounting Colloquium Series (FIACoS 5.0) organized by MSU’s Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies(FBMP).
Addressing attendees was MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid.
"Financial knowledge and discipline are important because financial missteps affect life and career. Financial awareness and understanding will lead to financial literacy. We aim to build these through our Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP), not only for our students and the university community but also for the community at large.
“To be beneficial, giving impact that strengthens community as well as country, the knowledge we create through our research must be applied and multi-disciplined. Use the FIACoS platform to build your collaborative skills and work towards international research.”
The university’s MoU with AKPK involves the agency providing financial and debt management programmes and financial counseling to all MSU members of staff as well as blended learning online and collaborations in research and education.

Three hundred students from FBMP presented their methods, case studies, and analyses from various research collaborations, to colloquium panelists from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Unitar), Universiti Teknologi Mara (UTM), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Islamic International University Malaysia (IIUM), and Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
