First in Asia, as announced by MSU President at the 24th Convocation Ceremony of Management and Science University (MSU), the 2019 recognition has been given by the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities, an accrediting body initiated by the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN) and based in The Netherlands. 

 

ACEEU is driven by an international group of experts in engagement and entrepreneurship, who envisions universities of the future to generate greater social, cultural, and economic impact through entrepreneurship and engagement.


Social entrepreneurship thrives at MSU, spearheaded by the University's Founder, Professor Tan Sri Dato' Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid. 

 

For his entrepreneurial leadership providing equal access to education, and his successful creation of the University's entrepreneurship ecosystem, the MSU President received the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award (APEA) 2017 for Entrepreneur of the Year.


MSU had also been recognized by the Ministry of Education Malaysia as the Most Entrepreneurial Private University 2016





Academic, practical, social and business aspects of entrepreneurship are supported by unidustry leadership and talent onboard the MSU University-Industry Advisory Panel (UIAP) and the MSU Leadership and Entrepreneurship Advancement and Development (LEAD) Institute, as well as industry insights facilitated by the University's President Lecture Series (PLS).

Industry-embedded curricula and end-of-study practical training support community engagement work of the university.
