Management and Science University (MSU) School of Pharmacy has had a sharing day on cardiovascular pharmacotherapy.

Themed 'Heart Care: One Beat at a Time', the MSU Pharmacotherapy Updates on Cardiology was co-organized with Selangor State Pharmaceutical Services Department and Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) Pharmacy Department.

 

 

Officiating the day was Selangor State Health (JKNS) Director Dato' Dr Khalid Ibrahim.

Present besides MSU's Vice-President of Medical and Health Sciences Cluster, MSUMC Medical Director, MSUMC Chief Executive Officer, and Dean of MSU's Faculty of Health and Life Sciences were JKNS Pharmaceutical Services' Head of Practice and Development Mrs Akmalyatun Kamal Kamaruddin and HTAR Pharmacy Department Head Mrs Nor Aziah Abdullah.

Management and Science University (MSU) had in February signed an MoU with JKNS to facilitate research, training, teaching and learning in the field of population health and well-being. The MoU was signed at the launch of MSU’s Embracing Community Healthcare Outreach (ECHO) programme by MSU International Medical School.

 

 

 

 

The MSU Cardio-Pharmacotherapy Updates'  objective of increasing knowledge in and understanding of heart disease management and treatment was shared by a hundred participants from state hospitals, with specialists of medical sciences, rehabilitation, pharmacy, and dietetics contributing their expertise.





MSU's School of Pharmacy
is a member of the MSU Medical and Health Sciences Cluster, which includes MSU International Medical School and MSU Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.
