MSU launches JobMatch Portal at Career Fair 2018

Platforms complement human capital development and delivery mission of Management and Science University (MSU)

Management and Science University (MSU) launched its MSU JobMatch Portal at the university’s Career Fair 2018.

Open to the public besides MSU members of alumni and final-year students, the MSU Career Fair 2018 presented recruiters and job seekers with a platform to exchange information on available job opportunities across industries.

Attending the launch of the MSU JobMatch Portal was Chairman of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Selangor Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok.

The MSU JobMatch Portal launch was officiated by Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, who expounded the advantages of talent matching.

“For any company to be successful the right talent is important; one who shares your vision and also your industry’s competency demands. Job-matching strengthens the workforce by ensuring the right talent goes to the right industry,” said the MSU President.

Members of industry present at the MSU JobMatch Career Fair launch included Top Glove, Schlumberger, Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Mariott International, Concorde Hotel KL, Tune Hotels, Pharmaniaga, and Institut Jantung Negara.

The MSU Career Fair 2018 is an annual event organized by MSU’s Industry Linkages and Entrepreneurship Department.

The MSU JobMatch Portal is developed by the MSU Continuing and Extended Education Centre (CEdEC).
