    Description: This research group focuses on research associated with finance. We discuss behavioural finance, prospect theory and then present a number of behavioural finance applications: to the aggregate stock market, to the cross-section of average returns, to individual trading behaviour, and to corporate finance. We close by assessing progress in the field and disseminating information about its future courses. Additionally, we investigate Treasury, Financial Risk Management, Investment, Financing Decision Making and Corporate Finance.

  5. International Business: Opportunities & Challenges

    Description: This project looks into the international dimension of business. Globalization enabled people and businesses to cross border much easier. This phenomenon was accompanied by increased outflow of investment as well as migration. Specifically, this project looks into FDI investments with particular focus on receiving countries like Malaysia and Algeria. It also assesses international business education as well as possible roles and influences resulting from cultural differences. At a micro level, we are interested to explore various form of international entrepreneurship as well as immigrant entrepreneurship in Malaysia; a phenomenon growing in scope and impact.
