Management and Science University (MSU) has held the 24th Graduation Ceremony in MSU Chancellor Hall for 2,014 from 24 including 17 TVET-based programmes of study at MSU Learning Centre and ten branches of MSU College nationwide.

 

 

Organized into three sessions over two days beginning Sunday the 13th of February after a two-year hiatus post-COVID, the G24 ceremony for MSU College and MSU Learning Centre presented 1,447 diplomas and 567 certificates.

 

 

Certificate of Management presented the highest number with 325 graduates, followed by Diploma in Management with 315 and Diploma in Culinary Arts with 300.

 

Certificate in Spa and Beauty Management as well as Certificate in Pastry, Bakery, and Confectionery each presented its first batch of graduates.

 

Diploma in Hotel Management presented 54 graduates from the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) based in Lumut, Perak.

 

 

Eighteen graduates received an award from the four categories of MSUC 24th Graduation Ceremony's best students.

 

 

The President’s Gold Award went to Aina Yusrina Abdullah from the Diploma in Accounting programme, and the Mohd Shukri Yajid Award to Ken O’Neill Clarance from the Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme.

 

 

Thirteen received the Academic Award; Nur Fazilah Haja Alaudeen, Diploma in Accounting; Nur Syahmina Izzatie Japri, Diploma in Management; Nuraida Samirra Muhamad Marzukee, Diploma in Culinary Arts; Wayne Healy Young, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology; Vanessa Saran Lingam, Diploma in Teaching; Muhammad Shaziman Haja Mohaideen, Diploma in Information Technology; Kavindharan Suresh, Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management; Rohana Sudin, Diploma in Hotel Management; Thong Chun Hean, Certificate in Computer Science; Aliff Akhmal Saharuddin, Certificate in Health Science; Nurhamizah Muhammad, Certificate in Early Childhood Education; Chan Khuai Man, Certificate in Digital Photography; and Bawuttran Ratna Kumar, Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

 

Three received the Industry Award; from MSU Medical Centre (MSUMC) for Siti Nurhazlinda Suradi (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology), from Affin Islamic Bank for Noralia Natasha Shamsol Bahrim (Diploma in Management), and from United U-Li (M) Sdn Bhd for Edinlyn George (Diploma in Hotel Management).

 

 

In his message of “Kita dilahirkan tak sama, kebolehan dan keupayaan masing-masing berbeza, namun peluang yang sama harus diberikan supaya setiap potensi dapat digilap dan semua berpeluang memajukan diri demi masa depan yang lebih baik,” MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid reminded the convocation congregation of how no one should be left behind in the journey of self-improvement and upward mobility towards a better future for all. Everyone is uniquely abled in his or her personal capacity, but the same opportunity must be given so that every potential may be realized.
