Global Mobility Program (GMP)

GMP Outbound : Global exchange program where MSU students are given opportunity to spend from one semester up to a year in partner university.

GMP Outbound is a Global Exchange Program where students from MSU Malaysia are given the opportunity to study abroad with one of MSU’s partner universities around the globe. Students may spend their time abroad for one semester or up to a year. This program allows the students to gain international exposure and strengthens their appreciation for cultural uniqueness.

Intakes:
February, September

Application deadline:
November for February Intake, June for September intake

Requirements:

  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0
  • Completed at least 1 year at MSU
  • Not in the final semester
Documents required:
  • GMP form (retrieved from EKLAS system)
  • All available semester results
  • Passport with at least 1 yr validity
  • Passport sized photo (4 pcs)
  • Insurance policy (Will be advised by Global Affairs once accepted)

GMP Inbound : Global exchange program where students from partner universities spend one semester or up to one year in MSU.

GMP Inbound is a Global Exchange Program where international students from MSU’s offshore partner universities may come to MSU Malaysia’s campus and spend one semester or up to a year studying here. International students who join this program can experience the variations of information sharing, learning practices, teaching systems and collaborative networks that MSU Malaysia offers.

Application deadline:
November for February; April for July; June for September

Requirements:
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0
  • Completed 1 year in home university
Documents required:
  • GMP form (will be provided by Global Affairs)
  • All previous semester results (transcript)
  • Passport with at least 1 year validity
  • Health declaration: Students will undergo medical checkup once they arrive in Malaysia. This is for visa purposes only.
  • Passport sized photos (4 pcs)
Students of both inbound and outbound GMP are requested to contact the Global Affairs (GA) department at MSU for further inquiries on the documents needed for visa and insurance.
