When demand is made for unprecedented creativity and inspiration, the way forward is innovation. Management and Science University (MSU) moves ahead on its commitment to teaching, learning, research, and mobility; with an attentiveness to the current global crisis.

Given its experience in both virtual and blended modes of delivery, converting to full online teaching and learning in a difficult time such as the COVID-19 pandemic is no issue for the University that received the Malaysia Digital Business Award for Excellence in Education Digitization. Rethinking pedagogy with technology, the MSU online learning facility reflects a readiness to adhere to the measures in place to protect the health and safety of its students, staff, faculty, and the community at large.

Even before COVID-19 emerged on the scene, Management and Science University (MSU) had implemented blended learning across all its Foundation, Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Master’s, and PhD programmes.

Across the University, members of the academic faculty tailor pedagogical solutions that are well-supported by the technology-embedded University. Everything is done to ensure continuous teaching and learning in keeping with MSU’s leading national index for Graduation on Time (iGoT), so that not a beat shall be missed, education- or experience-wise, for the students of Malaysia’s Most Entrepreneurial Private University currently scoring the country’s highest graduate employability at 98.7 percent employed within six months of convocation.

MSU ranked World Top 301+ in Graduate Employability

Capitalizing on accumulated knowledge of how online communities thrive, both cohort and community are fostered to ensure uninterrupted networking of course mates, colleagues, academia, and support systems.

MSU remains true to its goal of helping students develop leadership as well as practitioner skills; by holistic grounding in the core competencies and exposure to the real working world via the University’s GMP (Global Mobility Programme), GLP (Global Leadership Programme), and GIP (Global Internship Programme).

Whilst the teaching and learning on all programmes of study are to continue online until the end of the Movement Control Order (MCO), the face-to-face (FTF) part of blended teaching and learning is allowed with the SOP to be fully adhered to.

Online meets and digital activities are encouraged, as FTF group activities are not allowed at public universities located in PKP and PKPB areas but allowed with the SOP to be fully observed for students at universities located in PKPP areas.

All the MSU staff members continue to be at work in service of the University’s global student body - which hails from over forty countries - with an adaptability and agility that keep the University’s ‘Transforming Lives, Enriching Future’ ideals in check.

Keeping in mind that success requires participation by all, and as robust as the University’s measures might be, we still need everyone’s cooperation in wearing a proper mask and correctly, avoiding large gatherings, and maintaining physical distancing; so that all our students, staff, and faculty may benefit from the full experience of a quality education.
