Disability inclusion is essential to upholding individual rights, peace, and security for humankind. One billion people or fifteen percent of the world population live with a disability. Whilst eighty percent reside in developing countries, forty-six percent are aged sixty years or above. One form of disability is experienced by one in every five women in her/their lifetime, and one child in every ten children is differently abled.

 

With seven targets of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) specifically referring to persons with disabilities, leaving no one behind is central to the promise of the SDGs.

 

At Management and Science University (MSU), realizing the rights of persons with disabilities has been an investment into an inclusive better future; with facilities designed to maintain or increase the functional capabilities of students with a disability, and improve their campus as well as learning experiences.

 

 

MSU celebrated the success of five wheel-chaired graduates at its recent 28th Convocation Ceremony.
