Management and Science University (MSU) has launched its first ever book this December. Co-written by seven academics, the 345-page ‘Research Methodology: Building Research Skills (First Edition)’ is published by McGraw-Hill (Education) Malaysia.

 

With sixteen chapters setting out the components of research method, ‘Research Methodology’ by Management and Science University aims to help learners grasp concepts with ease in obtaining knowledge, and equip them to dive into the research environment with confidence.

 

Relevant to the areas of business, management, education, the arts as well as the sciences, the materials have been presented with global perspectives; by authors MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid and MSU Vice-Chancellor Professor Datuk Dr Junainah Abd Hamid, MSU senior vice-presidents Professor Dr Ali Khatibi from MSU’s Graduate School of Management (GSM) and Professor Dr Md Gapar Md Johar of MSU’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) Information Technology and Innovation Centre (ITIC), MSU Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP) lecturers and researchers Dr Ferdous Azam and Dr Jacquline Tham, and MSU International Medical School (IMS) lecturer and researcher Associate Professor Dr Indang Ariati Ariffin.

 

Dedicated to those who love to gain wisdom through knowledge, and passionate about education as well as research, the book is another contribution by Management and Science University towards building Malaysia into an education and research hub.

 

Research at Management and Science University (MSU) is applied, collaborative, and multi-disciplinary, with 25 key research areas.

 

MSU also leads the private higher education network for research and innovation RIPHEN.

 

At the book's launch organized by Management and Science University (MSU) Research Management Centre (PGC), a twenty-thousand Ringgit contribution by the author researchers was handed to MSU Foundation Yayasan MSU (YMSU); received by MSU Senior Vice-President for Endowment and Communication, who is also YMSU Vice-President, Dato' Rosli Yusof.
