Management and Science University (MSU) celebrated Malaysia Day with MSUrians from all over the world.

Organized at the MSU Chancellor Hall by MSU’s Student and Career Development (SCD) Department, MSU MyDay encapsulated seventeen programmes themed ‘Sayangi Malaysiaku, Malaysia Bersih’ across the faculties and schools of Management and Science University (MSU).

Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid officiated the closing ceremony of MSU MyDay.

“Without first-hand experience of the struggle for independence, appreciation of independence’s significance could be difficult. This is the reason for our celebration today; to inculcate an appreciative spirit of independence, and nurture togetherness in our staff and students; from MSU Kids to MSU College and the University, right up to MSU Medical Centre.

“Most importantly, above the dancing and festivities, let us take the time to reflect on the significance of the celebration. The country’s peace and harmony is a blessing, but let us not take it for granted. Inter-cultural learning and appreciation of our diversity can make us very, very strong. Together, we have celebrated Hari Raya as well as Chinese New Year and Deepavali. Let us keep on building togetherness, and peaceful harmony will be ours well into the future.
