- Clarity: Write in clear and straightforward language. Avoid jargon and technical terms that might be unfamiliar to a general audience.
- Structure: A typical abstract structure includes, Introduction, Describe the methods, approaches, or techniques used in the project, Results, and Conclusion.
- Keywords: Consider including a few relevant keywords that help categorize your project and make it easier for interested parties to find.
- Avoid Citations: Generally, avoid citing specific sources or references in your abstract. It should stand alone as a brief summary.
- Proofread: Ensure your abstract is free of grammatical errors and typos. It should be well-polished.
- Adaptability: Be prepared to adapt your abstract if required to meet specific submission guidelines or word limits for the exhibition.
- Video Submission Guideline
- Length: Keep your video presentation concise. Aim for a duration of 3-5 minutes to maintain the viewer's engagement.
- Content Structure: Organize your video presentation in a logical and structured manner. A typical structure may include:

- Problem Statement: Explain the problem you aimed to solve or the research question you addressed.
- Methodology: Describe the methods, approaches, or techniques you used in your project.

- Extended Abstract Submission Guidelines
Guidelines for creating an extended abstract:
- Language: All content must be presented in English and should be free of spelling and grammar errors.
- Length: The length for an extended abstract is around 500-1000 words.
- Content Elements: The extended abstract should encompass essential elements, including a background, problem statement, objectives, methodology, findings, novelty, and societal benefits.
- Length Restriction: The extended abstract must not exceed a total of four (4) pages, inclusive of the Reference section.
- File Format: Ensure that the extended abstract is submitted in WORD format (doc/docx). For comprehensive formatting instructions, kindly refer to the extended abstract template available for download in the 'Download' section of this website.
- Originality Verification: Along with your extended abstract submission, please provide an accompanying Turnitin or Originality Report, demonstrating a similarity index of less than 30 percent (%)."
